Question: When I am pedaling with the Multi function, my foot slips and comes out of the Toe-Clip. What can I do?
Answer: (1) As in A4, adjust the Toe-Clip Hanger to fit your footwear. (2) When your foot is passing the dead angle (10:00 to 1:00), your footwear can easily slip out from the Toe-Clip. Therefore, you should practice lifting up your heel and pushing down your toes to prevent the slipping problem. This practice will be good exercise for your ankles. (3) When you start to ride a bike or when your speed is low, if you are pedaling using the 360° motion, your foot may slip out easily from the Toe-Clip. Therefore, it is suggested that you should ride using the 360° motion after your speed is over 12 km/hour.
Question: What can I do if my footware is too loose or too tight in the Toe-Clip of the Pedal?
Answer: Loosen the 2 screws of the Toe-Clip Hanger and adjust the fitting of the Toe-Clip Hanger. Be sure to firmly tighten the screws once you have completed the adjustment.
Question: The Shifter Lever is on Normal, although both Cranks are not in a straight line (180° conventional bike position).
Answer: At first, try to turn each Crank around 1 revolution, and turn the (#4-1) Adjustable Bolt to the right ½ rotation and test it again.
Question: How should I maintain my bike?
Answer: There is no difference from the conventional bike. All bikes are lubricated before leaving the factory and this is good for at least 6 months, but it is a good habit if you lubricate the BB-Set chain and gears once in a while to protect from wet, rain and rust.
Question: When I change the Shifter Lever from Normal to Multi while riding, the Multi function does not work properly or at all, and I hear a grinding noise. What can I do?
Answer: Turn the (#4) Adjustable Bolt to the left ½ rotation and test it again.
